I was in Karnataka's hotest place called at that time Gulbarga
now it's (Kalburgi).Government of Karnataka t that time 1971 had
handed over it's non working closed textile mills to a private
party as the unemployed workers were compelling the government
to start this MSK Mills. The then Chief Minister
Late Sri.Devaraj Urs,told the Industries Minister Sri.S M Krishna
to do the job. He did it and a private party running KR Mills took
over.
The Mill was running pretty well but workers were not happy as they
found the private party had employed all their private mill at
Delhi and giving them high salary and no kannada speaking qualified
and experienced man was not present. They complained to government
authorities who controlled textile mills. The authorities from
concerned dept of textile mills for good working visited the Mills
and submitted it to GOI at that time during 1972 Smt.Indira Gandhi
Was the Prime Minister.
