I was in Karnataka's hotest place called at that time Gulbarga now it's (Kalburgi).Government of Karnataka t that time 1971 had handed over it's non working closed textile mills to a private party as the unemployed workers were compelling the government to start this MSK Mills.The then Chief Minister Late Sri.Devaraj Urs,told the Industries Minister Sri.S M Krishna to do the job. He did it and a private party running KR Mills took over.
The Mill was running pretty well but workers were not happy as they found the private party had employed all their private mill at Delhi and giving them high salary and no kannada speaking qualified and experienced man was not present.They complained to government authorities who controlled textile mills.The authorities from concerned dept of textile mills for good working visited the Mills and submitted it to GOI at that time during 1972 Smt.Indira Gandhi Was the Prime Minister.
